featuring the Hot Jazz of the 1930’s, Swingin’ Jazz of the 1940’s, and Cool Jazz of the 1950’s. Jam sessions featuring LA’s finest Jazz artists, starts at 1 pm-5 pm at “The Lodge” on the corner of 16th and Ocean Park in Santa Monica. A large dance floor, bar, great food and free parking available.
About Jazz Forum
The History of Jazz ForumThe Jazz Forum is a non-profit organization for the advancement of Jazz music and its audience. It meets on the third Sunday of each month at The "Lodge" on the corner of 16th and Ocean Park Blvd (1600 Ocean Park) in Santa Monica From 1 until 4:30 PM. Jam sessions for qualified musicians are set up by a music director and continue throughout the afternoon. Usually a special featured band plays from 2:30 until 3:30 pm. The public is encouraged to attend. Admission for members is $10, non members, $15. Annual Individual membership is $25. Musician membership, $20 and Family annual membership is $40.
